Help us build a locally grown hemp bedding supply network for the equine community.

SRSN is exploring locally grown and processed hemp bedding as an alternative bedding material for barns, farms, and horse facilities. Before building the supply chain, we want to understand what horse owners and equine operators actually need.

Express Interest

No purchase commitment required.

WHY HEMP BEDDING?

A bedding material worth exploring locally.

Highly Absorbent

Hemp hurd can offer strong moisture absorption and may reduce the amount of bedding required compared with some conventional materials.

Low-Dust Potential

Properly processed hemp bedding can provide a lower-dust option that may be useful for horses, barns, and handlers.

Compostable

Used hemp bedding can potentially become part of a composting or soil-building system instead of simply becoming waste.

Locally Produced

Our goal is to connect regional growers, processors, barns, and buyers through a shorter and more resilient local supply chain.

FROM LOCAL FARM TO LOCAL BARN

Grow → Process → Bed → Collect → Compost → Grow Again

Grow → Process → Bed → Collect → Compost → Grow Again

The larger SRSN goal is not simply to sell another bedding product. We are exploring whether locally grown hemp can become part of a circular regional system where agricultural material is grown locally, processed locally, used by nearby farms and horse facilities, and eventually returned to the soil.

WE’RE VALIDATING DEMAND FIRST

Before We Produce It, We Want to Know Who Wants It.

SRSN is gathering non-binding expressions of interest from horse owners, barns, boarding facilities, trainers, farms, and equine organizations. These responses will help us understand regional demand, number of horses represented, current bedding preferences, typical purchasing volume, price expectations, interest in pilot testing, and where local production would be most useful. This is market research and an expression of interest only. It is not a purchase agreement.
