Regenerative Land

Waste becomes soil. Soil becomes food. Food brings us together.

SRSN is testing small, practical ways to reconnect everyday resources with the places and people who need them most.

Waste → Soil → Food → Community → Soil

01 / Community Composting

Community Composting

Waste → Soil

THE PROBLEM — Organic waste and depleted soils often exist in the same community without an easy way to reconnect them. THE EXPERIMENT — Create simple local systems that collect appropriate organic material and return useful organic matter to soil. WHAT WE MEASURE — Material collected, compost produced, soil changes, labor, cost, participation, and lessons learned.

02 / Go Green Garden

Go Green Garden

Sometimes the long way home tastes better.

Have you ever tasted the difference between store-bought produce and something picked directly from the garden? Go Green Garden is a modern way of experiencing an old idea: connecting people directly with the land that grows their food. Open the app. Find a participating local farm or garden. See what’s ready to harvest. Take the long way home, stop by, pick your produce, meet the people growing it, learn how it was grown, and taste the difference for yourself. Agriculture becomes more than something you drive past. It becomes something you can explore.

03 / The Living Loop

The Living Loop

Waste isn’t waste. It’s just something in the wrong place.

What happens when yesterday’s food scraps become tomorrow’s eggs, vegetables, and healthy soil? The Living Loop is an experiment in small-scale circular farming where the output of one system becomes the input of another. Food scraps feed compost systems. Some organic material can support animal feed systems. Chickens produce eggs and manure. Compost and manure rebuild the soil. Healthy soil grows more food — and the cycle begins again. SRSN will build, measure, document, and improve these systems so people can see what works in the real world and potentially recreate parts of the model at homes, farms, schools, and communities.

The work ahead

Small experiments. Local lessons. Scalable ideas.

Regenerative agriculture doesn’t have to begin with thousands of acres. It can begin with a garden, a compost pile, a chicken coop, or one community willing to experiment. SRSN is creating places where those ideas can be tested, experienced, measured, and shared.
